In de zomer van 2012 onderscheidde hij zich van de auditie van bijna 10w mensen, won de hoofdprijs van de 13e All-Japan National Beautiful Girl Competition en nam deel aan de groep "X21", bestaande uit geselecteerde leden van de sessie, en diende als teamleider.
